    The F-1 visa is for international students who wish to study full-time at a U.S. college, university, or approved English language program.
    To qualify, students must:

    -Be accepted by a SEVP-approved institution

    -Show proof of financial ability to cover tuition and living costs

    -Demonstrate English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, etc.)

    -Intend to return home after studies

    ✅ 2. How much money do I need to show for a U.S. student visa?

    You need to show:

    -Tuition and living expenses for at least the first year (varies by university and location)

    -On average, this ranges from $25,000–$50,000 USD per year
    Acceptable proof includes bank statements, sponsor affidavits, or educational loans

    Yes, but with limitations:

    -On-campus jobs: Allowed up to 20 hours/week during semesters

    -Off-campus work (CPT/OPT): Allowed after completing at least 1 year of study

     CPT (Curricular Practical Training): Internship during study

    OPT (Optional Practical Training): Up to 12 months post-study (or 36 months for STEM fields)
